Background

Within the last few years, the rate of obesity has substantially climbed. In the United States (US), more than two-thirds of adults are now overweight and one-third is obese. This epidemic not only leads to serious health complications, but it also continually affects the economy in a negative way. In order to curb what obesity could do to the United States we need to constantly do research and monitor how it could severely put a damper on the economic progress of a country priding itself on success.
